My Story

About Me

Hello! My name is Sabrina, but I just go by Brina Rae. I'm from North Eastern Kansas. I grew up in a small town. When I turned 18, I started working in Topeka while going to Washburn University for Photography. In 2020, COVID happened, and all of sudden all courses were forced to go in some form of a virtual format, with very little notice. Soon after, I decided college wasn't for me. I tried several retail jobs, but none of them were quite paying the bills. I progressed through work to become a Sales Manager with David's Bridal (a job that I actually loved). Unfortunately the company filed for chapter 13 bankruptcy, and I was laid off. And yet again, I am in another retail position.

While I loved my day job, I dream of traveling and exploring the not so flat world. If you've been to Kansas, you'll note there isn't much here, and it's mostly the flatlands.

Most recently I've started a new journey and have found a group online I can relate to. I've found a career I will be able to spend more time with family, and go on spontaneous trips if I decide, and still find the use for what I did learn about photography, (which I still absolutely love!) The best part of it all, is that I can work from literally wherever!
